The two equipment industry giants are once again collaborating to make a significant difference in this ever-evolving industry. Develon and HD Hyundai are celebrating the successful grand opening of their new facility in Georgia. This is not a new venture as both sharks have already been in collaboration since 2019 after they opened their Savannah plant.

The next Georgia plant is an expansion of their previous Savannah plant which is likely to bring more efficiency and remarkable differences in the equipment industry. This Georgia facility in Brunswick covers a 93,000 square-foot area and will be marked as a major collaborative manufacturing plant in North America, officially inaugurated on September 4, 2024.

How would this facility entertain equipment personalization?

Develon and Hyundai expanded their collaboration amid the increasing demand for heavy equipment in the industry. Whereas, the latest tech integration is making things more adaptable in this time where new models are more in demand. Due to the sustainable design and eco-friendly operations, the new equipment models are on the verge of transforming the equipment and construction industries.

The Georgia facility under the collaborative administration of Develon and Hyundai will be assembling the equipment parts made from both these companies. The assembly of the parts will be covering everything from video systems to installing the complex hydraulic systems.

It is expected that the facility in New Brunswick is going to be 50% larger than the previous one. Due to the prime location of this facility, the North American market will be able to get more advanced equipment at cheaper prices which will bring more leads to the industry as well. this facility will further accommodate the changing demands of the dealers and consumers regarding the used motor grader for sale or any other heavy-duty equipment.

Prime location and better accessibility

New Brunswick is one of the prime locations in the entire North America which has the easy accessibility of almost 95 interstates. The closeness of the port will not only facilitate Georgia but all the nearest states, reducing the delivery cost and time.

Develon’s President and CEO, Chris Jeong, emphasized the facility’s significance for the business’s long-term growth plan. “With a variety of final assembly options, it will better meet the custom needs of our dealers and customers. It’s a much larger facility than the previous customization plant,” he further added.

HD Hyundai and Develon are putting themselves in a better position to deal with the expanding North American construction market with this investment. Dealers and clients will be able to obtain equipment that is specifically designed to meet their operational requirements with the help of improved customization services and faster lead times.

Bringing a significant change in the construction market

Both businesses’ dedication to efficiency and innovation in catering to the construction equipment market is demonstrated by the opening of the new North American Customization Plant. With the increasing need for ready-to-use and customized machinery, the Brunswick factory will be the prime point for HD Hyundai and Develon to keep their competitive advantage.

To meet the fluctuating demands of the end users and the dealer, the stakeholders and different giant ventures need to collaborate and merge their research and development teams. Only then, it will be possible to sustain the industry for longer.

Takeaway

An important turning point for HD Hyundai and Develon is the grand opening of the new North American Customization Plant in Brunswick, Georgia. The facility’s improved production capabilities, increased capacity, and advantageous location will allow it to optimize operations and better meet North America’s expanding need for specialized construction equipment. These collaborative approaches are helping companies put themselves in a position to succeed in the construction industry.
