North American market is once again taken as the opportunistic land by one of the equipment industry sharks, Volvo CE.
This time the company has launched its latest equipment to its excavator range and made a significant difference in its history.
The EC260 and EC300 are two mid-size crawler excavators that Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) has brought to the North American market.
Volvo CE’s excavator series has undergone a major overhaul with these most recent additions, which promise increased productivity, safety, and efficiency.
They are the modern alternatives for the reliable equipment
The EC300 is an update to its predecessor in the same series, while the EC260 takes the place of the EC250.
These machines, which are designed for utility work, road construction, and site preparation, include advanced performance features and technology to satisfy contractors’ changing demands.
When it was introduced in May, the new excavator series represented the most significant update to the Volvo excavator lineup in two decades, said S.S. Kim, product manager of mid-size excavators at Volvo CE, emphasizing the significance of these models.
These highly advanced machines are no doubt going to take over all of the bigger machinery and will intensify the project completion in the quickest time than ever.
Promise to advanced performance and fuel efficiency
Due to improved engine speed regulation, a smart cooling system, and an updated electro-hydraulic system, both models have up to 15% more fuel efficiency.
Together, these solutions retain strong performance while lowering fuel consumption and environmental impact.
Digging depths of 23 feet 2 inches and 24 feet 1 inch are available for the EC260, which has a 231-horsepower engine, and the EC300, which has a 260-horsepower engine.
These crawler excavators for sale are capable of handling tough jobs because of their breakout forces, which are rated at up to 40,690 lbs for the EC260 and 48,070 lbs for the EC300.
Isn’t it amazing? Under this weight range, it was impossible to attain such efficiency and accuracy before. However, Volvo has made it possible with its range of crawler excavators.
You can customize its work modes for variable uses
These machines’ ten different work modes are one of its most notable features. Four of these run-in automatic ECO modes to improve fuel efficiency, while two are especially intended for power-intensive tasks.
These customized modes reduce waste and environmental effects while allowing operators to adjust to different job requirements.
More functionality with more accuracy and safety
The EC260 and EC300 are further distinguished by their innovative technologies. The original creep travel mode reduces material spills and improves operator safety when paired with boom and arm shock reduction technology.
With its 360-degree visibility and Obstacle Detection, the Volvo Smart View system ensures safer operation in difficult situations.
Boom and bucket movements, on the other hand, are automated by the Volvo Active Control machine control system for precise jobs.
When combined with an advanced electric joystick, this excavator increases output and streamlines intricate tasks.
Operator can be in ease as well
In its most recent models, Volvo CE has also placed a high priority on operator comfort and convenience.
Improved seat design, keyless start, and the capacity to save various operator preferences are some of the major cab upgrades.
A more user-friendly and effective workstation is further enhanced by a larger, high-resolution Co-Pilot tablet and an enhanced human-machine interface (HMI).
Volvo always takes the lead in innovation
Volvo CE is still at the forefront of innovation, offering contractors state-of-the-art solutions for contemporary building problems with the launch of the EC260 and EC300.
These excavators are more than simply machines, they are instruments made to optimize output while putting operator comfort, safety, and efficiency first.
